I heard somewhere along the way, that the new cool thing to do is build a blog that people desire to read on a daily basis, put enough interesting stuff on there to get them hooked, and then drop it like it's hot. Well, it's a new day! Consider this blog revived!

Lov'n Little Baby Lilah Rose

Just in case I need to explain why my blogging is so sporadic, as of 2/22/08 at 2:02pm, I have 4 children....yes....count 'em up. The youngest is always my favorite, but don't tell them that. Lilah was born at 7lbs 7oz. and was just perfect. God has done it again with another beautiful creation of life. I am a very proud and blessed father.

What is work?

I know at first that it may seem lame to photograph yourself. I guess I really didn't have to tell you that I took this shot. Anyway, about 5 people in the last couple weeks have asked me what I do all day here at the studio when I don't have shoots. Well, I guess in between all of the post production image enhancement and created marketing materials....I....play to put it simply. How do artists ever perfect there craft without a little play time? I don't believe they can. I always strive to be better and better at what I do, even if it makes me look a little, or more than a little, silly at times. Well, my silliness is going to pay off for you. The first 3 people that comment on this blog entry before February 1st will receive a free studio session from.....well.....me. That is worth $75 for just keeping in touch. It's Been a While

I admit that I haven't been doing my job of keeping everyone up to date and informed. Since I think that photos speak louder than words, you can obviously see that I have been up to no good with the remodel. It is coming together very nicely and I am excited to have it overflowing with new business. Hopefully no one will notice that there is a photographer in town with no portraits in his studio to speak of. Rest assured, wall samples are on the way, and will, without a doubt, bring this beautiful space to life with color. I still have space reserved for a couple new portrait pieces and would love to fill it with something new and fresh, if anyone has any suggestions and/or beautiful, pageant winning child. Keep me posted, and I will try to do the same.

Sweet Home Coeur d'Alene

Recently, I have decided to relocate my photography business to a beautiful 1908 brick school house on 6th and Garden, downtown Coeur d'Alene. It's hard to tell by these photographs exactly how perfect it is, but it will definitely open new doors to my studio portraiture. Between the original rich hard wood floors, 12 foot ceiling and north facing vintage windows, it is sure to enhance everything I already love to photograph. We are hoping to open the doors by mid December and continue business as usual. Please don't hesitate to arrange a time to come see what we are up to.
